Sacramental Preparation Classes

First Communion Class – Sunday mornings 10:00-10:45 as arranged. These two or three classes are designed for parents seeking assistance in final preparation of children to receive Communion, but classes are not required. This learning experience is age appropriate for children in primary grades. Contact Margaret Haggard 493-3374 or Ed Roling at the church 582-4128.

Acolyte Training – for acolytes who assist at Eucharist is ongoing. Any girl or boy in grade four or above is welcome to participate. Adult women and men are also welcomed. Contact Mark Shackelford 747-7272, Bill Daniels 742-9675 or David Cox 749-4866.

Confirmation Class for Youth – At Trinity we prepare youth for the sacrament of Confirmation every other year when. This is the second year of the Journey to Adulthood program when youth are in grades nine and ten. Each youth is paired with an adult mentor and meets nine times before Confirmation using the program “Keeping the Promise: A Mentoring Program for Confirmation in the Episcopal Church.” Confirmation preparation is currently going on.  Confirmation is scheduled for the spring 2011.  Contact Ed Roling or Becky Moseman at the church, 582-4128.
