Weekday Classes

Education for Ministry (EFM) Participants register one year at a time for this four year course sponsored by the University of the South, Sewanee, TN. The class of six-twelve participants studies the Hebrew Scriptures, the Christian Scriptures, church history, and current theology. Weekly worship, discussion of weekly readings, and theological reflection are part of each week’s experience.

Tuition is $340 a year. Mentor, Ed Roling. Meets Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 p.m., beginning this fall September 1, 2010.

Formation in Christ Divided into four stages, this class introduces participants to the Christian faith, how it is lived out at Trinity and in the wider Episcopal tradition; prepares adults for baptism and confirmation in the Episcopal Church and allows baptized Christians to reaffirm and renew their faith in Christ. 1. The Inquiry Period is six classes for an introduction to Trinity and a look at the wider Episcopal/Anglican tradition. 2. The Learning Period covers Advent, Christmas, Epiphany seasons. 3. The Reflection Period. The Lenten Season. IV. The Growing Period.  The Easter Season.
