We feel strongly that children and adults should worship together at Trinity. But many children have a difficult time listening to a story told to adults without being able to ask questions or interact with elements of the story. In order to facilitate understanding at a child's level, children in the 9:00am Eucharist may attend Children’s Chapel to listen to the lectionary based bible story and participate in the related activity while the rest of the parish is listening to scripture readings and a sermon. Children rejoin their families for communion.
Children may follow the cross out of the service for Children's Chapel. Children's Chapel takes place in the Undercroft where there is plenty of room to wiggle and for child-friendly refelection on the days' lessons. Parents are always welcome to join us, particularly with small children.
