Seeking Nominations For The Vestry
If you have an interest in serving on our Vestry, don't be bashful! The Nominating Committee wants to carefully consider its recommendations but needs to know your interest by December13. Please express your interest or suggest others to a member of the Nominating Committee: Kathryn Shackelford, Justin Strong, Caroline Crain, Jane Faulkenberry or Kevin Kelly. You can find their email addresses on the Trinity Website's " Staff and Vestry" page.
Our Vestry is the governing body of Trinity. Its nine elected members serve three-year staggered terms. The Vestry has general supervision, control, and management of all business affairs, property, and finances of the parish and the relations of the parish to its clergy. The Vestry meets monthly and otherwise as needed to conduct parish business and work with our clergy to support the growth and vitality of the church. With a new rector anticipated in 2026, this will be an important and exciting time for our Vestry.
At our next annual meeting, the membership will be approving the election of three new Vestry members. They will be joining Jack Gordon, Linda Martin, Lizze Radford, Sara Arnold, Eric Landin, and Jim Langdon.
