Beloved Siblings in Christ,
We were absolutely thrilled to see the church so full last week with the launch of children's and youth Sunday School classes, the return of the St. Gregory choir for children and youth, and the TED talk forum about privilege and compassion. We are excited for the future of this vibrant and growing beloved community!
Adult formation begins this Sunday with the start of Reading Psalms Ethically: Ethics in the Psalter, followed in two week by Superheroines of the Bible, and When the Heart Waits: Spiritual Direction for Life's Sacred Questions beginning in October. Learn more and register here.

Do you know a young person who would like to train as an acolyte? It's been two years since we've had torch bearers and the time has come to train some new recruits. Let verger Bud Davis know if you're interested.
Finally, we are looking forward to our first Sewing the Seeds of Friendship Afghan-made craft sale, hosted by the 1000 Yards Ministry. Cash, check, credit card, and venmo will be accepted at this sale on September 25th from 8:00-12:30pm. Plan to join us and help our neighbors as they seek to support themselves in their new homeland.
