Advent and Christmas Events

Beloved Siblings in Christ,

With Thanksgiving just a week away, we find ourselves on the brink of the holiday rush. The calendar is full at Trinity and we hope you will join us for some of our many Advent and Christmas events and practices.

Tuesday, November 22nd at 5:00pm, join Mo. Cheryl to learn to make a traditional barn quilt. Barn quilts make great Christmas gifts for loved ones. Sign up here!

Next Sunday, November 27th, is the First Sunday of Advent. We will have our annual Advent Family Fest at 10:00am, which means there will not be classes for children or youth. Instead, join us in the Great Hall to make Advent crafts, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, whip up a wreath with real greens, and get yourself in to the spirit!

Also next Sunday is Advent Lessons and

Carols at 5:00pm. This is an exquisite start to the holiday season. Stick around afterward for a reception in the Great Hall.

Many of you have picked up a stocking to fill for one of the children served by the Social Justice Commission, but if you missed that opportunity, there are plenty of chances to assist those in need. Below you will find details of how to help parishioners in need during this season, and if you are in need yourself, you may sign up to receive confidential financial assistance for Christmas. This Sunday New Hope Christmas wish lists will be available in the Great Hall to help fulfill the wishes of children with justice-involved parents.

Looking ahead to the first week of December, we will have a Game Night (21+ only, please), Breakfast with Santa, the Christmas Market, and the Kiddie Mini Market. We hope to see you all at one or more of these upcoming events.
