Changes to Covid protocol

Beloved Siblings in Christ,
In the past week, we have been thrilled to see Tulsa’s Covid threat level drop from high risk, to medium risk. According to the CDC’s new risk assessment guidelines, by which the Tulsa Health Department now measures community Covid levels, we are in a position to remove most of our precautionary measures. In consultation with the vestry, staff, and clergy, masks will not be required in the building, and social distancing directives will be lifted, effective immediately. However, every individual and family group should make the decisions that best fit their needs, with regard to all precautions.

Additionally, food and drink will once again be allowed in the building, and Sunday coffee hour will resume, effective immediately. However, with the guidance of healthcare professionals on our vestry, the decision has been made not to resume the common cup for the time being. Eucharist will continue in one-kind, but again, if you are not yet comfortable lowering your mask to take the host, you are invited to accept a blessing instead.
As we have stressed throughout the changes of the last two years, please make the decisions that are right for you and/or your family group. We ask that, likewise, you continue to respect the decisions of those who make choice different from your own.
We continue to be in awe of the love, respect, and care you have shown each other during the ever-changing landscape of daily life. Thank you for embodying the true meaning of God’s kin-dom.
"so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another." -Romans 12:5
