Beloved Siblings in Christ,
On May 13th, the CDC issues new guidelines removing the requirement for fully-vaccinated people to wear masks and social distance. After much consideration, we have determined that we will continue to require masks through the end of May, in keeping with the commitment we made with other area faith communities. Because our community is made up of both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, continued masking also allows us to remove the social distancing requirements, and allows for choral and congregational singing. We will reevaluate the mask requirement in two weeks, but in the meantime, we ask for your continued grace and patience as we work out the best, and safest, ways to move forward. LEARN MORE.
We know some will not be quite ready to return to service in-person, and we understand that decision. We will continue to stream a pre-recorded service, but, beginning May 23rd, the service will be posted as a video at 11:00am on Facebook. We will record the 9:00am in-person service until we have the Cox fiber needed to live-stream.
We are counting on you to help us make this transition as smooth and safe as possible! For more information about our reopening, visit our FAQ page on the website, or contact Hannah Middlebrook.
This weekend, we can finally say the church and the building are open. See you Sunday!
