It has come to our attention that a parishioner who attended the 9:00am service on Sunday, July 17th has tested positive for Covid-19. The parishioner in question was fully vaccinated and has mild cold-like symptoms. This is considered a “break through” infection.
With the rise in the delta variant, and at the urging of parents, Trinity clergy & staff had already made the decision to require masks during this week’s Vacation Bible School in order to protect our unvaccinated children. In light of this fact, and the break through infection reported, we now urge parishioners to wear masks for in-person services at Trinity.
Trinity’s elected leadership will meet on Monday, July 26th to consider further action out of an abundance of caution. At this time there are no plans to close our doors, or limit inside worship.
