IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

Updated: Aug 11, 2021

In light of the newest data coming from the Tulsa Health Department daily case tracker and the CDC county tracker, Trinity leadership have made the difficult decision to suspend all hospitality until further notice. That means we will not have coffee hour for the time being. Likewise, the Feast of St. Lawrence and the Feast of St. Mary will be celebrated in the services only. The intended lunches to follow those services have been cancelled.

We will continue to have communion in one kind only. If you would prefer not to accept the wafer but would still like to come to the altar for a blessing, you are encouraged to do so. Simply cross your hands across your chest to signal this to the clergy.

In addition to the restrictions on hospitality, the mask mandate has been reinstated in the building. If you do not have a mask, a disposable mask will be provided for you.

While we recognize it is frustrating to be sliding backwards again, just as it felt we might be returning to normal, it is precisely because of this backward slide that we must take swift and decisive action. The safety of our church community, and the wider community, are paramount. We encourage you to take whatever steps feel right for you and/or your family, in addition to masking.

We will continue to record the 9:00am service, which will be posted to Facebook at 11:00am. We are experiencing trouble with the aging sound system as we wait for new components, so we regret that music may not be audible on the recording this week. But, we are assured the new part will be in this week and the installation should remedy that issue.

Please know that we are doing all we can to maintain a safe and meaningful worship experience for you. We are grateful for your loving kindness, and moved beyond measure by your support for the clergy, staff, and volunteers as we navigate this ever-changing terrain. Let us continue love our neighbors as ourselves.

Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.
