Plan ahead for Ash Wednesday

View the enewsletter in its entirety here.

Beloved siblings in Christ,

We have been doing the office of Compline at 9:00pm, Mondays through Saturdays, for

several weeks. What was initially intended to be a short term offering has become something many look forward to each evening as they process their days and prepare for sleep. As such, we have decided to extend Compline for the

foreseeable future. Join us tonight on Facebook live. You may follow along on page 127 of your Book of Common Prayer, or visit the online BCP. We are committed to keeping our church family safe, while also providing the spiritual growth and support needed during the upcoming Lenten season. Our traditional Ash

Wednesday service will be streamed on Facebook at 12:05pm on February 17th, and will be available to view anytime thereafter. We will still offer Ashes to Go, as we do every year, at the south west corner of the campus. Simply drive through at the porte cochere to receive the imposition of ashes. This service is open to everyone, whether Trinity members, or not. We are working on plans for our Holy Week and Easter services, and hope to have details to share in the near future. The Social Justice Commission wishes to thank you for all your help with their Christmas

project. The families they serve were able to have a much nicer holiday with your loving kindness. But the needs never stop. Please help the SJC restock their food pantry with much needed items (list below), or with a financial gift. Click here to make a donation. New Hope Oklahoma has a new executive director! Despite the difficulties of running their programs during the pandemic, we are excited to be partnering with New Hope, under the new leadership of Danielle Hovenga, once again. Their annual Mardi Gras fundraiser will

look very different this year, but we encourage you to help as you're able. Click here for more information. Our annual parish meeting will take place via zoom, and on the phone for those who don't have internet access or don't use zoom, on January 31st at 11:00am. There will NOT be virtual coffee hour on that date so that everyone can be present to vote. The zoom link and

telephone number, for those calling in, will be publicized widely before the meeting. Email Hannah Middlebrook with any questions. While the building may be closed, we all can see, the church is still open! In Christ, The clergy and staff of Trinity Episcopal Church +
