Resuming the Common Cup

Beloved Siblings in Christ,
According to the CDC's virus tracker, Tulsa county has now been in the low risk category for a few weeks. This is the lowest virus rate we have experienced for about a year. In consultation with the vestry, and particularly the health care professionals among the vestry, we have made the decision to resume offering the common cup, effectively immediately.
Please know that no one will be expected to accept the common cup. We stress that guilt should not be a part of your church experience. If you do not feel comfortable, do not take the cup.
This Sunday is Lenten Project Sunday. Join us in the Great Hall from 10:00am-11:00am to help make college care packages, write notes to shut-ins, stuff Easter eggs, and more. This is a great opportunity for service to our community and young people can earn service hours for school.
Palm Sunday is April 10th. Take part in our palm processions at 9:00am and 11:00am. We will meet in the Great Hall before both services (Church down under meets in the Great Hall, too), for a procession around the campus, culminating in the service. There will also be an all ages Stations of the Cross in the Church Down Under when the procession is done for those who wish to mark Jesus's journey to his death. We will taste the bitterness of tears, feel the weight of the cross, imagine the pain Mary experienced, and remember what Jesus did for us.
As we draw closer to Holy Week, we invite you to begin thinking about your Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday plans. You can learn more about what is coming up here.
