UPDATE: April 30, 4:00pm
Beloved Family in Christ,
As the state prepares to loosen restrictions on businesses and social interactions, some find themselves nervous. We have experienced a variety of emotions through the weeks of our lock-down and the unknown continues to create uncertainty in all our lives. We understand the mix of emotions each of you may be feeling, because we're feeling them ourselves. Like you, our families are facing the same questions: Will summer camps be open? How long will I have a paycheck? Will I be able to stay healthy? What about my parents? We want to assure you that Trinity will not be opening this weekend. The Bishop has assembled a task force to help determine when the diocese should open, and how to do so safely. Bishop-elect Poulson is leading the task force which will ensure continuity into the future. We are grateful that our diocesan leadership is moving forward cautiously, and intend to follow that lead. While we are beginning discussions about our eventual re-opening, we will not rush to any decisions. Our continued closure will help us maintain distance for the safety of ourselves and each other. But we want to encourage you to connect with us! Our daily meditations, TrinityConnect, take place Monday through Saturday at 11:00am on Facebook live. Sunday service are now being live streamed again and can also be viewed on Facebook live on Sundays at 11:00am. We know some people aren't on Facebook and worry that they cannot view services. We have a team of volunteers who have helped countless parishioners get connected to our services and will be happy to help you. Additionally, Sunday services are archived on our YouTube page and website. Speaking of website, we have a snazzy new website! All the information you look for is still there, just in an updated format. We hope this new format makes the site easier to navigate and easier to connect with us as we continue to keep our distance a little bit longer. We miss you, friends. But we'll be together again soon.
