ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
February 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
At the 2026 annual meeting, the parish will vote on the election of Senior Warden, Junior Warden, three members of the Vestry, and delegates to the 2026 Diocesan Convention. The Senior Warden and Junior Warden serve two-year terms and are normally elected in alternate years. Members of the Vestry are elected for three-year terms. The Nominations Committee and the Vestry have nominated a slate of candidates for those positions.
Senior Warden Sara Arnold:
I came to Trinity in 2002 to sing in the choir, and I am happy to have been an active member in this congregation ever since. Trinity is a welcoming, loving community of which I am honored to be a part. In addition to choir, I schedule the lectors for Sunday services as well as additional services. For the past two years, I have chaired the Stewardship Committee. I have served on Vestry for one year now, and in the coming year, I will also be part of a team to focus on Planned Giving for Trinity. In my work life, I am retired from a long, satisfying career in IT. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration degree. I am honored to serve Trinity, particularly in this period of change and in the building of a stronger foundation.
Junior Warden (completing partial term):
Justin Strong: Most recently I have had the privilege to serve the unexpired term as Junior Warden here at Trinity, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the parish in that role. I am married to Colby for over 15 years and we have two kids, Maggie and James. Most parishioners at Trinity will know me as a musician. In addition to my musical service to the Church, I have been an acolyte, a chalice bearer, a lector, a lay eucharistic minister, a member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, and have worked in a soup kitchen. I have served on many parish committees, including grounds, hospitality, searches for parish musicians and priests, and vestries.
Vestry Nominees
Donna Farrior: I am a native Tulsan who came to Trinity in the mid-2010’s from St. John’s Church. At St John’s I served on Altar Guild, Vestry and as Sr Warden. I was attracted to Trinity for its music, architecture, dedication to social justice issues and warm and welcoming people. I am a member of the Social Justice Commission and a front-desk volunteer. I am honored to be nominated for the vestry of Trinity and will contribute in any way I can. I have also served on the Diocesan Council, Standing Committee, and the Bishop Search Committee that called Bp Poulson Reed to Oklahoma. In my personal and professional life, I retired from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Tulsa where I taught for many years. I am married to Will Farrior and we have three grown children and six grandchildren.
Harry Cook: I am a native Tulsan, attended Tulsa public schools, graduating from Webster High School. I attended the University of Tulsa for two years and graduated from OSU with a major in Psychology. After graduation, I served in the United States Army for two years, including a tour in Vietnam with the Fifth Cavalry, First Air Cavalry Division. I worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for 43 years where I held a number of jobs, from direct client service provider to quality control and staff training positions, covering several counties in northeast Oklahoma. I met my wife, Marilyn, while attending graduate school at West Virginia University. We have two adult daughters, Laura and Mollie, and two grandchildren. We have been members of Trinity Parish for about forty years. I served on the Vestry several years ago when Fr. McKee was our rector. The most difficult task I remember from that time was voting to close Trinity Day School as it was operating at a substantial loss. I am very happy that it has since reopened in a financially sustainable format. I currently serve Trinity as a chalice bearer, and I am active with the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. For many years, I was a member of the Brotherhood of St. Lawrence. I will work to grow our membership and serve our community, while preserving our traditions and protecting our fiscal assets.
Julie Yeabower: I have lived 60 of my 66 years in Tulsa. I have always been happy in the Tulsa Community. I am married to David Ramsey. I graduated Holland Hall and OU. I have served, and continue to serve, on commissions/ boards. Currently, I serve on the Holland Hall Board of Trustees as the President of the Alumni Association. Doc Shak is incoming Board Pres. of SPCA. As an SPCA volunteer, he asked and I accepted, an incoming Board seat. We have known each other for decades. I volunteer for the Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter and enjoy this role abundantly. Many friends report it would be too depressing. Not for me! If ONE dog, for ONE day, has a better day because I served, my day is time well spent. I volunteer at my beloved church, Trinity Episcopal, for service on the altar. Most often, I serve as a Chalice Bearer. I would be honored to serve Trinity Episcopal as a member of the Vestry.

Trinity will send eight delegates and two alternates to the diocesan convention on October 2-3, 2026, at St. Crispin’s.
